✨ Becoming Craig – Born For Such a Time As This ✨

🎉 Today, I celebrate another year of life.

Another year of becoming the man God created me to be.
Another year of showing up fully in my purpose.
Another year of radical joy, deep healing, and faithful steps forward.

This past year has stretched me in ways I never imagined. I've carried dreams that felt too heavy, navigated moments of doubt, grief, and uncertainty, and faced wilderness seasons where I wondered if the way forward was even possible.

But through it all, I was reminded of this truth:
I am here on purpose, for a purpose.
Born for such a time as this.

And I’ve never walked this journey alone.

To those who have stood beside me—my Avengers, my chosen family who have fought for me, lifted me, and loved me deeply:
🙏🏽 Thank you.

You have been my shield in battle ⚔️, my refuge in storms 🌧️, and my sanctuary when I needed rest 🕊️.

You’ve shown up with hugs 🤗, affirmations 💬, laughter 😂, and grace 🫶🏽 when I needed it most. You’ve reminded me of who I am, even when I momentarily forgot.

You've seen me in moments of doubt, and instead of walking away, you stayed. You reminded me that there is joy in the work we do, that we are the heroes of our own stories, and that no dream is too big when rooted in purpose and love. 💛

Your presence in my life is a divine gift, and I do not take it for granted.

As I step into this next chapter, I’m moving forward with open hands 🤲🏽, a renewed heart ❤️, and a vision that’s been shaped by faith and community.

Here’s what you can look forward to as I continue #BecomingCraig:

✨ Radical Joy in Black and Brown Spaces – Amplifying our stories 📚, celebrating our humanity 🎨, and creating spaces where we thrive unapologetically.

👑 The Black Boy Joy Summit will evolve into a year-round movement, bringing healing, connection, and joy to our youth and families.

🎙️ New partnerships, deeper conversations, and a podcast (👀) focused on brave storytelling, leadership, belonging, and the radical act of joy.

🕊️ Faith and Purpose – Leaning into my spiritual journey, and sharing what it means to lead, love, and live as a queer Black man of faith.

📚 And finally, a book that tells the story of Becoming Craig—a journey of hope, healing, and purpose.

💡 Born For Such a Time as This

This year, I am embracing this truth:
God is not done with me yet. 🙌🏽

There are new paths to walk 🛤️, new rivers to cross 🌊, and new mountains to move 🏔️.

And I know this: I am becoming all that I was created to be.
I will continue to pour out love 💕, joy 😃, and light ✨, and I will never forget that my strength is rooted in community.

To my Avengers Network—thank you for seeing me 👁️, loving me 🤎, and reminding me that I am worthy, whole, and enough.

We have work to do 🛠️.
We have joy to spread 🥳.
We have mountains to move together 🌄.
